When I arrived home on the morning of February 7, I found lots of coins and chocolates scattered on the floor. Yun pala the day before, there was a Chinese Dragon dance inside our house. Part of our Chinese New Year ritual was to scatter coins and feed the dragons with chocolates and money.
I missed the Chinese New Year celebration because I was stuck in the air between February 5 and February 7.
We left the coins and chocolates scattered around our house but then our dog Stella munched on the Twix and ate at least half of the chocolate bar including the aluminum wrapper. Oyen rushed her to the animal hospital because Stella was having difficulty breathing.
The vet said Twix has layers of other ingredients and the chocolate content is less that’s why the effect on Stella is not that serious. If she had swallowed 70% dark chocolate then she would be in serious trouble and it could be fatal.
