Our neighbor has been complaining about our dogs’ occasional barking.
We’re continuously looking for ways to keep our dogs’ barks at a minimum but they still bark, when there are strangers at our gate, when the garbage truck parks in front of our house, when there’s a cat, etc.
To minimize the chances that they would be noisy while we’re away, we’ve started bringing them to the office, one at a time.
Stitch was first.
He was so behave on the ride to and from the office, and while he’s at work. He’s naturally cute so he got lamog from the employees’ hugging.
Here’s Stitch about to leave the office on monday night.
Oyen and Stitch accompanied me to Zara in Greenbelt.
I tried on the winter jacket worn by the mannequin but it didn’t look good on me.
It was Spike’s turn the next day (Tuesday). He was agitated the first 30 minutes of his car ride and chose to cuddle up beside me.
The first thing that he did as soon as we got to the office was to unload a lot of poo and pee. He poured a lot on my files. We spent the next hour cleaning his mess.
He growled at everyone who entered my room. He almost bit the service manager. After several hours, he relaxed a bit and slept while I worked.
We left the office at a little past 4 pm. I noticed Spike was uneasy. We stopped and I asked the driver to let him out so he could poo or pee. I took it as an opportunity to eat lunch. I had mushroom soup, and I also took home pasta for my son.
Me———– “Waiter, magkano yung nasa tray na vongole?”
Waiter——- “Take out yun”.
Me———– “Alam ko, magkano yung isang tray?”
Waiter——- “Marami yun, grupo, pang party”.
Me———– “I know, bakit naman ako mag-oorder ng para sa akin lang?”
He did not answer my question. I asked how much and he concluded that I was ordering that for myself alone to be eaten in their restaurant.
I went to pick-up the photo CD from Rupert Jacinto at The Salcedo Park condo in Salcedo Village.
I thought Rupert would leave the CD with the guards, but he didn’t. The guard gave him a call and I had to wait in the lobby for about 15 minutes.
Their lobby is spacious and nice, like a hotel. Even that, I still don’t want to live in a condo, yet. I don’t know in the future.
I didn’t notice that it rained cats and dogs and traffic around the metropolis had turned into lions and tigers. It took away one hour of my life just to go in and out of Salcedo Village. Edmund called to verify if I was already home.
E—— “Tart, where are you, sa bahay ka na?”
A—— “I’m stuck in traffic”.
He called again after half hour and advised me to avoid the traffic. But how? I was supposed to swing by a hotel near A. Venue to check-out their ballroom for our company Christmas Party but Edmund called again and told me to drop it and just head straight home. That was at 6:45 pm.
He’s with Oyen and they were able to avoid the heavy traffic in EDSA by going around Sta. Ana, Sta. Mesa, San Juan. Oyen’s GPS proved helpful.
Edmund told me they’re having dinner in Omakase and asked what food I wanted. I told him “I’m too tired to think of food. Pls take home food for my son”.
They waited for me at Omakase in Greenhills. They’re done with their food when I arrived at 8:45 pm. I ordered a cup of fried rice and 3 tiny pieces of ebi tempura.
Spike cooperated by sleeping the whole time we’re stuck in traffic.
We got home at past 9 pm. I was sooo tired, my back, neck, shoulders and butt were aching from 4 1/2 hours of sitting in the dark.
