Edmund likes going to Shopwise in Libis. Medyo kumpleto kasi sila. My sister too, every time nagba-balikbayan sila ni Bong, pupunta sila sa Shopwise. Ako naman, ayaw ko dun kasi ang traffic along C5, and I always come home with a headache every time I shopped there.
Morning, husband said “Gusto mo bang pumunta sa Shopwise?”
Wife——- “Okay”.
Kailangan maaga tayo, bili tapos alis, bago magdatingan ang crowd.
Wife——- “Okay”.
E——– “Tart bili kaya tayo ng wine”.
A——– “Ang mura”.
E——– “Anong lasa kaya nito?”
A——– “Wag mo nang alamin, mura lang, damputin mo na”.
Why will I buy a few pieces of bay leaves for P412?
P43 / can x 3 cans = P129. Pay P132.50, that means the plastic canister is not free, it’s P3.50
There was a couple discussing which variety of fresh cherry to buy, when Edmund suddenly appeared from behind and took one piece and ate it. The man was aghast. Ang sama ng tingin kay Edmund, he was so pissed he followed Edmund. (laughs)
Sa America kasi, okay lang to get a few pieces for tasting.
Shopwise’s bar coding could have mistakes. Watch closely while the cashier scans your items. Check the prices.
I had a bad experience with them before. P24,000+ plus daw ang total ng groceries ko. Ha? I asked the cashier how it reached that much. I saw an entry for P14,000+++ for a pair of rubber slippers. Imagine, kung basta ko na lang babayaran kung anong sabihin nila. A family also experienced the same thing, their total reached P38,000++ meron din items na super doble ang zero. As a rule, check your items and their prices.
A———– Tart, I will get the raffle tickets.
A———- Miss, anong premyo? Yung grand prize?
Woman—— Motorcycle.
A———- Yung second prize and consolation prizes?
Woman—— Wala.
A———- Walang minor prizes? Yun na yun, motorcycle?
woman—— Oo, one per branch.
Sulit kaya pagsulat ko ng mahabang address?
On our way home….
A——— Tart, baka manalo ako ng motorcycle.
E——— Huh, ang lagay nyan, umaasa ka pa”.
A——— malay mo, manalo tayo.
E——— Asa ka pa! Anong gagawin mo naman dun sa motorcycle?
A——— magku-cruising-cruising tayo. Riding in tandem.
E——— laughs.
