After checking in and resting in the room for an hour, Edmund and I braved the heat and explored what’s around the hotel. The one who recommended this hotel to my sister was right, the hotel is conveniently located near souvenir shops and restaurants.
How we wished the weather was better. The heat in Madrid was enough to fry my partner’s bumbunan. Oh too hot. Walang hangin. We didn’t want to walk any farther. Tamang-tama we saw Tapa Tapa a restaurant with air condition.
We just wanted to dine in an air condition room and had zero expectations with regards to the interiors but we were pleasantly surprised when we entered the restaurant. The decor was new and charming.
The food was very good too.
I ordered fried sardines and they were like tawilis.
We split one seafood paella. It was perfectly cooked and delicious. I thought this was the best paella I’ve tasted so far in a very long time.
I blame vanilla ice cream for my sugar overload.
We went to a nearby Starbucks naman from Bar de Tapas. This is one of the nicest Starbucks I’ve been to.
