It’s been almost 3 years since we last had a group meeting. Glad that we were able to gather tonight and oh my, we must have truly missed each other. Four hours of non-stop eating courtesy of Jun Periquet and non-stop laughing courtesy of the bankeros, Opap, Mike, and Noel. My belly hurt from too much food and my wrinkles multiplied from laughlines.
I was the very first to arrive, 10 minutes before the 6:30 pm call time. Then Susing Pineda.

Tony Boy Cojuangco arrived third.
Ginza opened in May 2022 inside the massive furniture showroom of Fashion Interiors by Paul Cornelissen. All the furniture and furnishings are for sale too.
Raymond Garcia volunteered to host our gathering in Okada but hindi natuloy. Tonyboy suggested Ginza instead because it’s owned by Jun Periquet.

Ginza spolied us with top-notch Japanese food, including the freshest oysters.
Atty. Mike Toledo brought a bottle of special red wine. Ubos agad. Noel Onate was reminishing about their college days. Gigi Montinola daw was long haired in college. Uso kasi yan nun.

Raymond is the youngest in our group. Very enterprising, hardworking, and smart. He is president and CEO of DFNN and he also has successful real estate projects in Texas. Last year he invited me to consider Texas but I wanted to see the area first to have a good idea. Sayang, yung $60k lot is now $200k daw. He is a good friend of my son-in-law.
We were literally chatting behind Jeffrey’s back. Jeffrey is the owner of Cathay Land.
I would like to come back here in Ginza one of these days. It’s a short drive from my office. The food was really fresh and delicious.
We started eating at a little past 7 pm and by 10 pm we were still eating, chatting, giggling, and laughing.
I haven’t been out this late but I neither feel tired nor sleepy. My adrenaline was very high from laughing nonstop. We split up at 11 pm.
