The church baptistery could only accommodate 10 to 12 people and was reserved for the parents and godparents. Guests were told to proceed directly to Gloria Maris Restaurant instead of the church.
I was impressed at how beautiful the balloon decorations were at the entrance and the backdrop inside. They were grand.
Our staff from Makati Ford, KayAnne, Joralyn, and Kennedy, came to help us receive guests, sign on the guest book, and make a list of all the gifts for proper thanks and acknowledgment.
I also bought 100 pieces of small give away for guests. We placed them inside sinamay bags, with a small ribbon and a thank you note. Mahirap mag-isip nang give aways.
I only took photos of our table. My daughter hired a photographer and I hope the person took photos of the other guests.
We didn’t invite as many guests as we wanted to. Only family, godparents, and some close friends. I thought of inviting more people but naku, maaabala pa sila.
We reserved 10 to 12 tables with 10 persons per table. I think 100 people attended. It may sound like a lot but family and friends lang yun.
Lunch was set at 12 noon but most people came past 12:30 pm. Food was served late too, like quarter to 1 pm. Gutom na kami lahat.
The backdrop was very impressive. I thought with the amount of money my daughter paid for this, amin na lahat ito. Yun pala, lobo lang ang pwedeng iuwi.
The mom picked the perfect theme for her baby’s party. It’s very fitting. Theo is our little prince. It’s simply magical to be blessed with this little boy.
Le Petite Prince was a novel first published in 1943 by French aristocrat and writer Antoine de Saint-Exupery.
The story is about a young prince who travels around planets including Earth and helps address loneliness, friendship, love, and loss.
The main theme of the fable is heartwarming and is expressed in the secret that the fox tells the little prince: “It is only with the heart that one can see rightly: what is essential is invisible to the eye.”
