The Prime Minister hosted a farewell breakfast at The Kitchen

The gracious current Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, Terrance Drew, Jr., hosted a sumptuous farewell breakfast at The Kitchen a five-star restaurant located on the highest part of Kittitian Hill. Nestled at over one thousand feet, overlooking the point where the Caribbean Sea kisses the Atlantic Ocean, dining at The Kitchen elevated my standards of the kind of view I want to have while eating eggs cooked over easy. The fresh ingredients are harvested from the 400-acre Belle Mont Farm, planted with organic tropical fruits and vegetables. The Kitchen’s executive chef is John Hazzard.

I was impressed with the architecture and interior design. I couldn’t stop admiring the overall ambiance. I would love to have something like this, eto na naman ako, nananaginip ng gising. Kittitian Hill was designed by Bangkok-based architect Bill Bensley. It was funded by the Sugar Industry Diversification Foundation (SIDF) in 2011 which eventually sold its stake to a private Swiss entrepreneur named Patrick Liotard-Vogt.

This breakfast and hello with Prime Minister Drew was such a nice ending to our visit here in St Kitts. Kittitians surely know how to make visitors feel wanted and special. Farewell, it wasn’t, only see you again next year.

Thank you Dr. Drew.
