The long rest and Decolgen helped me feel a little bit better. I didn’t want the day to end with me getting stuck in my hotel room while the whole world pass me by. I braved venture out in this smoggy city.
This presidential visit is less than organized in comparison with the more than fifty trips I had joined in the past beginning from FVR’s time. DTI was always on top of the game, with our kits ready at least a day before our departure. Our IDs, badges, special invitations, lapel pins, and a booklet containing a list of all the people in the official and business entourage. the booklet also detailed our schedules on a daily basis.
This trip is different. I still don’t have a copy of the booklet so I decided to walk to Grand Hyatt where DTI set-up a secretariat office specifically for this delegation.
I left my bag inside my luggage and used the hotel plastic bag instead. I don’t know what to expect outside so I want to make sure that my bag doesn’t catch attention, baka mahablot. Besides, I regretted using this blue bag because it’s so heavy. It’s not for everyday use.
It’s nice naman pala to walk outside. It’s fairly safe. The temperature is very pleasant although it is really smoggy, not foggy.

Walking is nice and easy because the sidewalk is as wide as the road, except that seeing the smog that envelopes the city and locals wearing masks make me worried that my lungs would be drowning in toxins.
Hi Ms Annie.. It is nice to see u enjoying ur business trip.. Do take extra care when breathing in that smog — mahirap magkaroon ng congestive pulmonary infection while ur there..
Praying for ur safe return to Manila.. God bless u always…
thanks Pam.
