We were late for the 6 pm mass but we made habol. We just stood at the steps leading to the balcony where the choir was.
We thought the one singing at the mass was Father Peter Cochin. There’s such a similarity in their well modulated voice.
When he started singing, I excused myself and went up the steep stairs to take a video of the singer. There was only two people there, the singer and the video/organ operator which was in another room.
Hindi pala sya si Father Peter.
After his song, I asked for his name. He’s Christ the King’s resident wedding singer pala, his name is Jong Hernandez. He gave me a business card of the Noah’s Ark Band. I would presume he’s a member of this band.
The other guy there came out and looked at us. He was wondering why the singer stopped singing, eh kasi kinausap ko. Naabala ko. I only stopped when a lay minister came and asked me “mag-co-communion ka ba?”
When I went down to look for Edmund and Nyke, they were already seated.
Edmund said when the singer stopped singing, he told Nyke “siguro kinausap ng mommy”. Yun na nga. Mismo. Inabala ko kasi.
