Thousand Peso Lush soaps - Oh My Buhay

Thousand Peso Lush soaps

Lush soap has become too expensive already. Depending on the weight, a bar of soap could set you back by more than a thousand pesos. Several years ago, when the prices were around P300 a slice, medyo I found them expensive na. Then it became P500 / bar, ngayon thousand peso na. A bit too much for regular income earners.

  1. Am I so happy with this particular post!

I had been wracking my brains since an hour ago trying to remember that word which refers to a fortuitous coincidence. I know the word originated from an ancient name. That it was the title of the movie of John Cusack based on that same name of a dessert place in New York.

I tried to google the word but nothing came up. I wracked my brains some more but not even a jumble of letters came up. I was already resigned to picking the minds of people around me but it was still too early to start bothering them with my quite whimsical need.

And then this serendipitous moment happened!

    Many thanks OMB

  2. Sometimes I am like that, makakalimutin.
Serendity 3 restaurant in Manhattan ( 225E and 60th St.) is such a lovely place to have cheesecake.
It was also the scene of the John Cusack ‘s romantic comedy film, which bears the same name / title Serendipity.

    1. I have been to that place in Manhattan a few times. The last time was very memorable because I was with two sisters and a 6-year old nephew. My sister, who lives in 41st, decided that the best way to get to Serendipity was by walking. It was too much for my usually bubbly nephew that by the time he started eating his huge chocolate sundae, fat tears were streaking his cheeks.

He was back to being the happiest boy in town though when he had the pleasure of flagging the taxi on our way back.
