Threats to Humanity (not necessarily in order):
1. Terrorism / war—- There are armed conflicts in many countries. Our country is one prime example, Filipinos are killing Filipinos. We have the NPA, MILF, MNLF, Abu Sayaff, and other groups.
2. Crime, guns and drugs —- Not safe anywhere we go.
3. Airborne diseases that could wipe out a whole village in an instant like Ebola, NHN1. Corona virus, etc.
4. Global warming is irreversible and the effects could be deadly to humans. The future generation would suffer the brunt of nature’s fury. Air travel becomes even more dangerous due to unpredictable weather changes.
5. Natural Disaster— example: a huge meteor hitting the earth
The world is not a safe place to live anymore. I worry about the future generation. But where would we live? No safe place to hide. I’ve seen a feature on some rich American’s preparing for a doomsday scenario. Some multi-millionaire built an 8 story bunker full of comforts. It’s like an inverted condominium. Instead of high rise, it’s deep down there. It has water, food, medicine, power supply for ten years. After that, it can generate it’s own supplies and utilities infinitely. It can filter the air and water from poisonous gas and chemicals and from harmful microorganisms.
There are some who invest in smaller bunkers, like a cylinder with 4 beds, kitchen, tv, with power, food and water supplies for one year. This could protect them from nuclear attack if you could get there soon enough. What if you were in the grocery store when it happened. Wala rin.

What about earthquakes? I wonder if these bunkers could withstand intensity 8.
