Oyen reminded me not to go to Time Square this Sunday because there would be millions of people there. But we did exactly the opposite. We walked 5 blocks from our apartment.
Shopping for souvenirs is easy with the many sidewalk vendors and stores selling the iconic I love NY prints.
I like America’s free expression of oneself. I could wear the longest lashes and no one would care.
If you want to upstage Vice Ganda, wear this flappy lashes.
Those interested, the store is located in Times Square.
Actually uso na rin sa atin ang false eyelashes.
One time, naki-uso lang ako, I went to a parlor in Robinson’s Galleria, nagpa lagay ako ng false eyelashes. Trip lang. After two days, husband asked me “Are you flirting with me?”
My God. How could he accuse me of such a thing. Bakit ko naman gagawin yun? Anong klaseng babae ba ang nag-pe-flirt sa asawa. Where’s my dignity.
Right after he accused me, inalis ko agad, nabunot pati yung mga pilikmata ko, lalo ng kumonte, tila tatlo na lang natira.
We want to watch a play or musical if we have extra time. I want Lucky Guy starring Tom Hanks but the reviews are not good. Bette Midler is also here but Oyen is not inclined to watch her show.
Buying Broadway tickets from the hotel concierge is convenient but it increases your cost because they charge a fee. If you go to the TKTS in Time Square, kung matyaga ka, fall in line and unsold tickets for the day’s show are half-the price.
The Disney Store on Fifth Avenue closed and tansferred to Times Square.
One is never too old for Disney stuff.
I almost bought this for myself. Ang cute.
I want this sana, baka lang mapagkamalan akong mangkukulam.
This wedding bouquet comes with a matching wedding ring with diamond solitaire.
Medyo matarik yung escalator, ang taas pati, feeling ko bubulusok ako pababa.
Adjacent to the Disney store is Forever 21. We didn’t find anything nice. At mahirap magsukat, ang daming tao nakapila sa fitting room.
We feel secure with the presence of policemen in practically every corner.
