I couldn’t bear the heat inside the van so I got off and walked to the nearest McDo. The rain was pouring, I was wearing pa naman a brand new pair of sandals I bought from the premium outlet, buti na lang mura lang. I was so paranoid, baka ma hold up ako.
Hiyang-hiya ako baka kako my friends would see me walking along EDSA. They would of course tease me. How ironic.
I called a back up to pick me up and to tow the van. As soon as I reached McDo, my new driver was calling, umandar na daw. I didn’t want to ride with him not until I was sure he knew how to operate the advanced electronics of the vehicles nowadays. I told him to just bring the van to Edsa. I just waited for the other driver to pick me up.
The next morning, I caught Edmund teaching him the correct way of starting the engine.
