Although our flight to Manila was still at 6:20 pm, the tour guide picked us up at 8:45 am.
It was raining the whole day and unfortunately the places Miko brought us to required a lot of walking in the rain to and from the bus. It’s very cold and at the same time the weather was not cooperative. It’s our last day and yet all this rain. Poor tourists.
Our bus was the first to arrive at the Tokyo Tower grounds. This is a communications and observation tower located in Shiba Park Minato in Tokyo. It’s so far the tallest man-made structure in Japan standing at 332.5 meters. The deesign looks like Eiffel Tower.
They give free buttons to children
We have seen too many towers that’s why the Tokyo Tower failed to impress us. In 2012 alone, modesty aside, we’ve seen two towers in Sydney, one in Shanghai, two in Singapore, meron pa pero nalimutan ko na.
Plus we could not appreciate the view of Metropolitan Tokyo because of the thick clouds covering the city.
There’s a glass portion on the floor where one could see down below, it’s really scary
Edmund insisted on making me sit there, I held on to his jacket and was about to cry. Ang pangit ko pala pag takot-na-takot. The other tourists were watching us and started laughing when they saw me hanging on to Edmund’s jacket.
Sore de zenbu desu (that’s all)
There are a lot of souvenir shops in that building, one can’t leave without parting with some yen. I bought a plastic winding toy that hops and tumbles. I saw a store on the ground floor selling it at 10 Yen cheaper. (that reminds me, where is it? I can’t find it).
The Japanese are models for first class product presentation and packaging.
My son was so busy looking for something to give to his girlfriend.
