Too Good To Be True

My husband always tells me and my children that if it’s too good to be true, then IT’S NOT TRUE.
If a business proposition was presented to you claiming earnings of unbelievably humongous amounts in just a month, and you believed that there’s such a thing, then you will have a big problem.

If you do not believe what we are saying, you will definitely lose your money. So the first thing that one should do is not to believe and not to be greedy. I have said this many times before.
Young people are gullible and easily lured. Older people are not gullible, except that they think they are smart but actually they are greedy.

Kung nawala ang pera mo, don’t look for someone else to blame.   Look inside you.   You saw an opportunity to make tons of money although you knew the risk was bigger than your face.    You were moved by your greed, not by trust.

Being gullible is one thing, however, it becomes utterly dangerous if it’s coated with GREED.
I thought greedy people are more careful with their money. They are smart, they will not give their money to people promising unbelievable returns. Because they know that that is too good to be true. They would verify first if these young adults are also being lured and exploited by other people.

They know that it’s wrong and risky. The magnet of easy money. If there is such a thing, then we will not sell cars where profit is little and the cost of doing business sometimes exceeds the expected profit. If it’s that easy to earn big amounts of money, then there would be no more poor people on earth. Humanity would be wearing gold plated clothing.

cards, elevator to success

PLEASE REMEMBER THE FOLLOWING:

Let us be content with what we have. I am not saying that we all become lazy. Let us be patient and appreciative of how much we earn. Minsan kulang, minsan stress tayo dahil maraming obligations. That’s part of life. I grew up seeing my parents worked hard to earn an honest to goodness living. They made sure we all finished college so we could have better lives. At para hindi kami tatanga-tanga.

Life is not just about money. A person’s worth is not how much money he has. It’s how much he/she is loved and respected. How much you truly care for other people especially the sick and the poor. What you do to help others even in small ways. One doesn’t need a lot of money to show concern for others. You can do good things without costing a centavo. Join the church choir. Or just be a good person. Do not be greedy.

I’ve seen people accumulate so much wealth. Those people don’t become better persons by having so much money. In some cases, the more they become shrewd, selfish and vain.

Yes, all of us need money to survive, but one doesn’t have to be filthy rich to be happy and content. Success is not measured by money alone. So don’t make it the center of your life. Don’t let your desire for money turn you into a bad person.
What’s important is financial independence. Yung tama lang, May perang kaunti para you don’t depend on anyone.

I’ve said these things many times before.

Sad, very very sad.
