From Tyme for Tea, I hurriedly drove back because Aileen was calling, we’re going to have supper at Toppings Too.
My first time here was two years ago. I remember that the food was good except there’s a plastic supot in our bowl of sinigang.
Toppings Too has an extensive list of Filipino dishes to choose from. Nagsalawahan kami kung anong oorderin namin.
The portions are good to share. Aileen ordered this inihaw na liempo, I took one piece.
Instead of ordering some nilaga or sinigang, we just asked for a FREE hot soup. Bong finished his, Aileen and I didn’t. Parang medyo matamis. I just had a sip.
Yes, people, sa sobrang salawahan ko, I ended up ordering FRIED CHICKEN!!!! They gave me a huge bandehado, with two legs, one is so huge I thought it’s not chicken but Turkey. I just ate all the crispy sides and gave Bong the smaller leg.
Bong’s order— sizzling beef. Masarap siguro because Bong finished it.
Aileen and I both had halo-halo with ube, pinipig, langka, leche flan. Ang sarap ng halo-halo nila.
Toppings Too give you value for money. The portions are huge and the taste is good. Note that the place is small and they only have less than 10 tables, so when it’s weekend, be prepared to wait a little.
