One of the antique vendors in Bangkal mentioned to me that there’s also a place in Dapitan, Sampaloc, Manila that sells antique plates. Maybe that’s where I could find what I like.
From Makati, we turned to South Super Highway, Pandacan, Quirino, Nagtahan. Once in a while it’s nice to see places like these.
Manila has different kinds of street lights. Some are baduy, some are doybads, some are really bad.
I wish local officials choose something that would ADD VALUE to the city, not to ADD KALAT.
We didn’t find any antique shop nor a stretch of antique dealers in Dapitan. We stopped 3x to ask for directions and we were directed to Dapitan Arcade. This is not what I am looking for. All the stores here sell handicrafts and export overruns.
Pwede dito mga foreigner na mahilig sa mga native crafts.
They sell a lot of ceramics marked Singapore Airlines, etc. The vendor was trying to convince me to buy those stuff.
Guy: Mam, branded ito, tingnan mo oh Singapore Airlines, meron din kami Qatar, etc.
Sabi ko “Ayaw ko, mapagkamalan pa na ninakaw ko sa eroplano yan”.
