I squirm whenever I see little children playing with guns. To me, it doesn’t matter if it’s plastic or toy or made of marshmallow. It still is a gun.
I did not buy toy guns for my son when he was small. Twice he received plastic toy guns from a ninong and a friend, I didn’t let my son play with them. Eventually, I threw them away.
Maybe this was the reason why when we went to the firing range to learn how to safely handle and fire pistols, he was hesitant and showed the least interest.
I called the attention of the boy’s father about the gun. he said it’s only plastic and belongs to his son’s playmate, not his.
I told him it doesn’t matter who owns it, basta it’s not advisable to let his son play with gun. The boy even aims and shoots. Kinakalabit yung gatilyo.
Sinasabihan naman daw nya pero yung kalapitbahay daw pinapahiram nung baril. Mali ang kanyang katuwiran.
