I was a little agitated when we were going to Gare Lyon. We left the hotel just an hour before our train schedule.
The old taxi driver was driving slow that’s why other vehicles kept on overtaking us.
We also thought he took us on a scenic route. Fine, except that we had a train to catch.
The more I got stressed-out when there were no English translations on the board. I went to the information counter and no one spoke English. The officer replied to me in very fast French. It was so frustrating.
Edmund was so relaxed, me naman, nai- stress ako. We finally figured it out and just waited for the electronic board to indicate which train would go to Geneva.
Sasakit ang leeg ko looking at the board. Kasi in split second, it could change, and we had to be in the train within minutes. There’s a small time window. Dapat mabilis.
Alas, we boarded the train and found our seats.
We’re on the deck or second level. This was better because I could have a better view of the scenery.
They served us some food on trays.
E————- Parang sa plane.
It was hard to take a clear photo of the villages outside.
The TGV train was running fast, but when it reached Switzerland, it slowed down because there were many cliffs and zigzags.
We made two stops before we reached Geneva in 3 hours.
It was a short ride, hindi naman kami nainip. Plus the seats were comfortable.
There were border policemen checking other people’s luggage.
Edmund went to look for a toilet, I got a little worried because it was taking him more than usual.
When he came back, he was panting, he helped daw a very old couple carry their luggage up the stairs, eh they were very heavy.
I got concerned because nowadays, we don’t know what people carry in their bags. A good deed of helping a stranger carry his/her bag could get us into trouble. They could be carrying something illegal or contraband.
Much as we would like to be helpful, there are many bad people around using innocent individuals. That happened to me at the HK airport (that’s another story.)
We took a cab to the hotel, not knowing that it’s walking distance from the train station.
Wo Miss Annie your in switzerland na 🙂 na miss ko tuloy bigla switzerland 🙁 I wish i could bring my nanay and tatay dyan lalo na sa laussane. I stayed on ouchy movenpick sobrang ganda ng place kasi over looking and evian place mag boat lang nandun kana.

Hi Annie!
We were in Montreux, just one and a half hour train ride from Geneva, October last year. We took a tour, chocolate train, and the scenery is awesome especially the autumn colors.
Enjoy your trip!

Because of limited time, we just stayed in Geneva, didn’t join any of the tours.
Thanks Luming. Enjoy your Australia vacation.
Hi Annie!
Mas nag enjoy kami sa New Zealand. Ang ganda ng Queenstown, accdg. to our guide the scenery is similar to Scotland.
