I paid $150 to PAL for rebooking fee because my original booking was on July 7. Last year when I rebooked my flight a week earlier, I was charged $450. Whoa.
I am leaving for Manila on July 17 and I am a bit anxious. It’s hard when your family is physically living in different worlds. I have to traverse the Pacific Ocean to hug my daughter then ride a big big jet to hug my son. I admire some of my acquaintances whose children are also scattered around the globe and yet they manage. Siguro masyado lang akong kaiyak.
I packed my stuff. Walang shopping this time. I only have my blue maleta and the small aqua one I bought recently. Wala naman akong dalang shampoo, toothpaste, soap, Spam and corn beef pero ang bigat pa rin nitong mga maleta.
First time I will use this Saint Laurent brown suede leather combination travel bag. It’s huge and can fit a gazillion of things except that it’s heavy. It has a zipper which keeps my things intact inside. This bag is a Mother’s Day / Birthday gift from my daughter last year. We were at the store in NY together when we both spotted it. Gift na lang daw nya sa akin. I just kept it and didn’t use it. She asked me a few times why I was not using it. Kaya eto, gagamitin ko na pero madudumihan naman.
