I only got to know more about him thru the news announcements on television and from the newspaper articles detailing how kind, trustworthy, dependable he was as a man, father, husband and government official. I did not know that Secretary Jesse Robredo exemplified the true meaning of PUBLIC SERVANT. His good deeds and character are being praised everyday ever since he died. Nahinayang lang ako. We all knew pala that Secretary Robredo was a good role model. Why was this information about how good he was not publicized when he was still alive? Why only now when he’s already dead? Sana nuon pa siya pinagpupuri. He could have been a better role model when he was still alive and the nation could still see him leading by example. Sayang.
Attention to Manila Bulletin, Philippine Star, Daily Inquirer, Manila Standard, TV Patrol, Bandila, 24 oras, TV 5, etc.
Can you please start featuring now the good guys in government service so that we, the citizens, would have a better appreciation of who they are and what they are, and what they’re doing for the benefit of the populace? It would be nice to express now our admiration to them while they’re still alive. It would have more value to us while they are still around so we could ask them for their insights. Their exemplary deeds must be made known to the public most especially to the youth.
Ngayon na natin ipaalam na mabubuti sila, hwag pagkatapos na nilang mamatay.
