1. While I was waiting for my ride from Robinsons Galleria to Virra Mall, a woman approached me asking for money. She said she needed it to buy food and medicine. After I glanced at her, I decided to reach for a twenty peso bill from my bag. She looked surprised when I handed over the crisp beinte pesos. I think she was hoping I would give her some money but she didn’t expect it would be twenty bucks.
2. Parking around the city has become so expensive. The cheapest now is fifty pesos. Others charge 55, 60, 70, 80, 100! Grabe
3.
I was going to the computer shops in Virra Mall and decided to cross through the bazaar area.
I saw this unused flow blue set made in England: a white and blue porcelain tureen with sauce bowl, serving dish, bowls, soup / salad plates, dinner plates, etc. at the Nino’s antique store in Greenhills. I had bought something from this store some ten years ago and I still have the owner’s contact number. I reserved the salad / soup bowls but until now I haven’t gone back to actually get them. Looking at these photos, I am now having second thoughts whether I should buy them or not. Parang I have so many blue plates already. At saka mahal din lalabas.
They are more than a hundred years old. I like old stuff. I wish I’ll live up to a hundred and still in good running condition like these plates. Maybe I should buy these. Or not? Hay, let me think about it. Maybe they’re sold already. It’s been more than a week since I spoke to Nino.
4. I was about to take the escalator on the ground floor of Virra Mall when I saw this food stall making puto bumbong. I bought a pack for fifty pesos.
5. I paid four hundred pesos to the computer shop to download some songs and five movies on my iPad. I asked him if they have licenses to download because I might get into trouble. He said yes.
My husband found the songs too old na daw. The kind of songs I want to listen to reflects on my age.
(I don’t know how to fix the frame.)
