This was my very first time to take Turkish Airlines. I didn’t choose this. I just went with the flow. I told Federal that I would just take the same flight and schedule as the rest of the group. I was very anxious when I found out that we’re taking Turkish Airlines only because of the route and the very long flying hours.
The airplane looked new and well appointed. The crew were attentive and all good-looking. I didn’t notice any Asian flight attendant during our flight, they all looked-European.
Except when I am traveling with my family, I prefer to get an aisle seat.

Turkish Airlines has a chef that distributes the menu cards and takes down orders.
Eto talagang si Paul, nagpa picture pa with the chef.
The meals were comparable with other airlines.
I put on about 7 lbs from my UK / Scotland trip. I lost about 3 lbs within the first week of arrival. I lost another 2 lbs from getting sick. With all this food on board, I would surely put on more lbs.
The flight from Manila to Istanbul was soooooooo long. It felt like forever. There were turbulence every now and then but the scariest part was when we were flying over India when the shaking became so strong. I screamed and got so scared. I called Paul Chuatico who was seated one row behind me. “Paul, Paul, I am so scared. I am so scared. I am scared”.
He told me “pray lang, pray”. He was nervous din pala he told me.
Beth and Paul’s wife, Karla, were awakened not from the turbulence but from my loud scared voice.
The shaking lasted for more than 30 minutes. I wished the pilot told us beforehand that we would be passing thru some bad weather and would be for this much time. I thought they could see those weather patterns on the radar. I was terrified.
We landed in Istanbul safely, thanks Lord. My knees and body were still shaking even after we landed in Istanbul.
