Our 6 pm flight was moved to 6:20 pm then 7 pm. Edmund was getting hungry but he didn’t want to go back to the restaurant section of the airport so I just bought a Ham & cheese sandwich and shared it with him.
HK$ 22
We boarded at 7 pm but they announced that there would be half-hour delay due to aircraft traffic. We finally took off at 7:50 pm.
There was a guy who was seated near us who’s so bantot talaga. The minute Edmund and I sat down, his smell engulfed us. I was horrifed because my hair, my clothes, my skin, my bag would smell like him in a few minutes. I took out my Kotinko and we wiped some on our noses. I also put some on my skin, the airline upholstery, everywhere. Edmund said, walang epek yan. I put a lot more on my nose. But I could still smell him. Ang sakit na ng ilong ko from Kotinko.
I stood up and told the stewardess that we want to transfer seats. She said hindi pwede, the seats are occupied.
When I told her, “hindi rin pwede, I cannot stand that guy’s smell, masusuka na ako”. When she heard “masusuka”, the calm look on her face changed into a look of panic. Siguro naisip nya naku, baka nga ako masuka dun, she would end up cleaning my mess. All of a sudden, she offered me two vacant seats.
I still remember the face of that bantut guy. I want to give him a spa gift certificate for 10 body scrubs.
At long last, we’re safely home. Mabuhay!
I could still smell the guy even when we were already outside of the NAIA building. When we were already in the van,
I turned and saw the bantut guy waiting for a ride. Kaya naman pala I could still smell him, he was right behind me.
Me——– ‘Tart, there’s the guy, do you want to offer him a ride? Baka walang sasakyan”.
Edmund—- Laughs.
