Our two male turkeys challenged each other to a deadly fight yesterday morning. If not for Edwin, they could have seriously injured or killed each other. What did they fight about? Eh ano pa, eh di pinag-aagawan nila si Miss Turkey.
Edwin—“Mam, halos magpatayan sila kaya inihiwalay ko muna yung isang malaki. Grabe kung ihampas ang mga ulo nila.
Omb——“Bakit daw? Ano’ng pinag-awayan?”
Edwin—–“Pinag-aagawan ho nila yung babae”.
They fought for her attention and love. Not love pala, but for her sexy body.
She is now the proud mommy of one turkey egg. Hopefully soon she’ll have more eggs and baby turkeys. We don’t know if the dad is turkey one or turkey two.
Edmund—-“Yung farm mas marami ang ating manok at…, ano’ng gagawin natin pagdumami sila”.
Turkeys don’t lay eggs as much as the chickens do so I don’t think they would reproduce that fast. However kung bigla talaga silang dumami, I am going to host a Thanksgiving Dinner. #roastturkey
Can you imagine if the two male turkeys switched their interests and instead of eyeing on Miss Turkey, sila na lang dalawa ang maglambingan at mag-untugan ng beklogs nila? Do you think that would be possible? Do you think male turkeys have the capacity to exercise their right of freedom to choose their gender? No, they cannot choose their gender because the minute they were conceived, nature already decided for them.
