The new Magna Carta for Homeowners Association mandates that directors or officers must serve for maximum two consecutive years. The law was passed last year. That would mean this would be my last term as a member of the board of directors. In fact almost all of us except for one guy couldn’t serve in the board beginning next year. There must be two years rest then we can run again.
If I am not mistaken, I’ve been a director for 4 years now. I am currently the Corporate Secretary.
The board meeting is only a once a month thing but I drag my feet every time. Kasi it’s at 8:30 pm and coming from the office, minsan it’s 8 pm and I would still be in the traffic. By the time I reach home, gulatay na ako sa pagod.
Like last Tuesday, I left the office at 6 pm and arrived home at almost 8 pm. Nagdinner muna ako kasi I was starving. I got there at 8:40, late na.
I walked home, at 10:00 pm, para akong multo sa kalye.
