Aside from my dinner with Edmund a few weeks back, I brought Oyen to Marcia Adams two x in a row. Two consecutive dinners. Two consecutive nights.
You cannot come here just to have a salad or a soup or a dessert. Marcia Adams requires a minimum order of P750 based on my calculation. One must order the main course which comes with a small plate of appetizer and a dessert. If you choose an appetizer that’s more expensive, then there’s an additional charge.
This chicken kebab was Oyen’s main course.
My main course was Aromatic Pork. The liempo was fatty so I only got to eat maybe half.
This grilled orange with vanilla ice cream and loads of honey is my dessert.
Panna cotta was Oyen’s dessert chosen together with the chicken kebab with yogurt.
Marcia Adams is full of bushes, trees and plants. Oyen and I were lucky to have seen one firefly flickering in the dark just a few meters from where we were dining at. I got very excited and I couldn’t keep my eyes off the luminescent light emanating from the firefly’s lower abdomen. One of my motivations to have a mini farm is to have a bigger chance of seeing fireflies at night. I haven’t seen one at our place because we have never stayed there at night.
