While in Las Vegas, Uber provided me with fast, safe and reliable mobility around the city.
I was able to go to places within minutes feeling at ease and with a high degree of confidence that I would reach my destination safe and sound. A few times I didn’t even know where I was and had to rely on GPS and Uber. Since Las Vegas is generally a safe city, i did not worry being out even at 8 pm. As long as my 4G is working I am fine. In no more than 5 minutes, the vehicle arrives.
The only irritating thing that I experienced a couple of times was the confusion on where I would be picked up. Thrice, the driver went to the opposite of the street, behind the building, or worst, in a different hotel. But all told, I have high praises for this incredibly genius transportation business.
Had I stayed in Las Vegas for one month more, I would probably have developed bonding with Uber drivers / business persons. I mentioned business persons because they are not Uber employees but they are independent Uber operators with their own business registration and licenses.
I get turned off when a driver obviously or even impliedly ask for tip.
