Unhappiness in the Philippines

As long as we live, there will always be happy and unhappy days. We just all hope that on average, there are more happy days than sad days. I don’t know if there is one single person in the Philippines or on earth that only experience nothing but bliss. But let’s not score the fight of happiness vs. unhappiness. Let’s just go on with our lives, deal with the problems of living in this chaotic place and time, face the days with hope and optimism.

We all want our lives to be comfortable and secure.  For our country to flourish and people to be able to improve their lives, the government must lay the foundation for true peace and progress. A peaceful and stable environment will bring happiness to Filipinos.

Let’s keep our fingers crossed that the present leaders and those who win in the coming election deserve to “SERVE”.

Every day there is more bad news than good that’s reported on tv and newspaper. I think our country’s major problems are:
1. Poverty
2. Illegal Drugs
3. Guns for Hire
4. Politicians

If you are bored with your life or unhappy, go get a small dog. They can uplift your spirit when you are feeling low and can put a smile on your face after sitting in the traffic for two hours.

This is Stella.

  1. Today I have been unhappy and angry because of a particular clerk in Robinsons Bank in the new accounts section. Two clients arrived and observed her in seconds how she behaves. This clerk talks more than doing work, and complaining infront of clients that she is bugbog daw today coz of many clients. nabastosan ako at tinalakan ko. Sabi ko is this how you work? Daldal ka ng daldal. She was pacing around tayo sa kanyang upuan to take time chismis with the other employees. Samantalang malapit 2 hrs na ako naghihintay. Her superior talked to me in private and apologised but this clerk was making excuses kesyo sa approval daw sha. Like i would care what she does when she is in feont of us behaving badly. People like that with so much pride should not work for a boss. Aba nagwalk out ako, sayang nya oras ko. These kind of workers make people unhappy.

  3. Hi Joey,
Ay ako rin, I am the masungit one. Lagi na lang there’s something that irritates me. What you have experienced at Robinsons Bank was not an isolated case. I’ve experienced that many times in other places as well. I get mad and have no qualms calling their attention. “Miss, mamaya na kayo magkwentuhan, pagtapos na trabaho.” Even waiters & waitresses are not spared of my wrath. I hate it when they talk in front of my food. Mahilig din sila magkwentuhan. There are daily occurrences that make us unhappy.
