I wanted to try a new restaurant so I went to Google to see those articles on Top Restaurants in Baguio, Best Place to Eat in Baguio, etc.
I lined up 5 but some were farther away so I chose the one closer to Baguio Country Club, Rustikz.
Some 500 meters away from Rustikz my husband was calling. He wanted to come with me instead of having dinner at The Manor kasi daw ang daming tao, maingay and magulo.
We turned around and picked him up. I told him I was going to try this restaurant called Rustikz that I found on Google. Nakalagay eh Top 2 Best Restaurant tila on Tripadvisor.
As soon as I saw the restaurant from the outside, I became hesitant to get off the van. My husband, “oh eto yung napili mo”. I told him I would check out the menu first but he said dito na lang.
It’s a small place and right beside the main road. I found the vehicle noise obtrusive so we left. “Ayaw ko dito ang ingay, sasakit ulo ko”.
I felt like I was dining right beside the road. I wouldn’t enjoy my meal so we left. My husband said okay naman daw. I didn’t know if he was teasing me. Supladita daw ako.
We ended up at the next door restaurant, Rose Bowl. We’ve been here a couple of time before but every single time, but instead of the food taste improving, sa panlasa ko eh tila pasama ng pasama. Yung quality of food nila eh medyo wala sa Chinese food standard. Yung yang chow nila eh ni sa hinagap eh hindi yangchow.
I complained to the head waiter na pakisabi sa cook nila pagbutihin naman ang luto dahil hindi masarap lalo na yung yangchow. This place is one of the favorites in Baguio b ut they must improve the tastes for the better in fairness to their customers.
Before going up to our room, we stayed for a while at the hotel’s veranda. Edmund had coffee and we shared a plate of churros 70-30. I took 70%.
Their Xmas tree could be seen from the veranda. I went out to the fairway to have a good shot of the giant Christmas tree.
