I am back in civilization after several days of no lap top, no blogging, no Facebook, no wifi living.
September 4, 2016 4:20 pm.
Yen and I arrived at the Araneta Coliseum just seconds before the UAAP basketball game started. We could not enter because our tickets were with Edmund.
We were given 4 tickets but we only used two. Edmund doesn’t need a ticket to enter, he has an ID.
The moment we entered the coliseum my adrenaline skyrocketed from the deafening sound of the drums from both universities. Parang nawala ang jetlag ko.
I have a few more video clips which I will publish tomorrow.
Husband shows off his UST uniform.
UST wins the first three quarters but loses the most important one, the fourth and final quarter!!!!!
Smiling because we are winning.
No more big smile, we are losing.
Edmund is restless, he keeps transferring seats. Nai-stress siguro.
UST was leading before I decided to erase some of the video clips I have taken. When I looked up, abah, tambak na kami. What happened guys?
Mister restless leaves the bench, joins us, then sits on the stairs. Maya-maya humingi ng Biogesic, masakit daw ulo nya. Tensyonado kasi talo na tayo.
Mag popcorn muna, pampaalis ng tension.
Ateneo Blue Eagles soars and sings their hymn.
Cherry Tanodra, director of UST’s office of alumni relations.
Edmund joined the team in the dug-out for a few minutes. He asked me if I wanted to go in, ayaw ko, siguro some other time, when UST wins.
There were still a good number of people waiting for the players to come out.
To Ateneo — Well done.
To UST —— Medium well.
As in all sports, mastery of the fundamentals is key to winning.
