Although the plane was smaller and older, the garlic bread was so tigas and the croissant was not up to my standard, overall it was a very good flight. The sky was clear, the flight was not bumpy and I had seven hours of sleep. Thanks to Bonamine.
Tips to travelers
When the plane is about to touch down, passengers scramble to use the toilet. With a full flight, you can expect that the toilets are busy. Be ready to wait for your turn. Some passengers do their thing inside the toilet as if it’s their own. They forget that they are not in their own toilet at home, and that there are people already leaking outside.
Being a frequent traveler and a frequent pee-er I have naturally developed my own strategy so as not to spend minutes standing outside the toilet door waiting for the passenger to remember that its not her/his toilet. The minute I see the green light, takbo agad ako. Magaling akong tyumiempo. Before the plane takes-off, I pee, as soon as the seat belt lights come off, I go. Before the meals are served, I go. I don’t wait for the other passengers to finish their meals because that’s when everybody wants to go to the toilet. I go just before the other passengers finish their meals. Or I just wait till all of them are done with the toilet trips.
I left on July 17 midnight and I arrived in Manila on the morning of July 19. That’s the mystery according to my Papa (+). He would always wander, saan daw napunta yung isang araw. Lugi daw sya, nawalan daw sya ng isang araw.
Our plane landed at the NAIA 1 instead of at PAL’s NAIA 2.
They chose this shark to be the greeter.
In my opinion, the sight of a giant shark was not a welcoming sight right off the plane. Feeling ko, lulunukin nya ako.
I thought I was one of the firsts to disembark but whoa look at all this people.
Where did they come from!
Together with the giant photo of a shark, this long lines are also not a welcoming sight.
I heard a sosyal woman “you mean to tell me we have to form a line?”
Of course ano pa?
I asked two women who were also in line:
A—– -“Saan kayo galing?”
OFW 1- — “Sa eroplano ate”.
A—– “Saang bansa kayo galing?”
OFW 2– “Singapore”.
I saw the big sign Philippine Passport so duon ako pumila, after 20 minues, at saka ko napansin OFW line. Lumipat ako sa kabila.
It took me 50 minutes to clear through the immigration.
Buti na lang the color of my aqua maleta stood out, madali ko syang nakita, where? In another conveyor, hindi naman PR105. I didn’t complain anymore why they were there, okay lang basta I found them. I was afraid to lose them. There’s no one checking if you are taking other people’s luggage. Any passenger can load your bag on their cart and goodbye na.
My globe line didn’t want to connect. I thought they disconnected the service. Buti na lang I was able to use the airport’s wifi to ask my husband to contact my sundo. They were there already at the arrival area.
Expensive high rise condominiums in the background, low income residential community in the foreground. This is life in contrast.
As soon as I put down my bags my husband appeared from the kitchen and said “kilala mo pa ba ang bahay mo?”
Hello there bears, long time no see.
Tyler sleeps in my daughter’s room. He likes to go under the bed daw.
