I was staring at the baby’s weighing scale at the clinic of my son’s pediatrician. I couldn’t believe how tiny it was. Paano kaya nagkasya ang anak ko dun?
My son is the doctor’s oldest patient. I am the oldest mom.
As usual, there were at least 30 moms waiting for their babies’ turn. Wala akong magawa while waiting so I decided to count the number of women who have big tummies or bilbils like mine. Abah, and dami nila ha. Majority actually. At saka they are generally 10-15 younger than I am. They are supposedly more physically active.
Not that I’m looking for an excuse but sometimes misery loves company. Hindi lang ako ang nag-iisa.
