From Manila Cathedral, we walked to San Agustin Church, which is only a short block away.
There were stations of the cross set up on the front yard. Edmund thinks people should just go inside the church and pray there rather than pray in front of this makeshift crosses with printed images.
He said there were images of the stations of the cross printed in large tarpaulin hanging along the highway in Cainta and he found it odd that people were praying in bended knees in front of the tarpaulin.
I find the interior of San Agustin Church prettier than Manila Cathedral.
When I was a young girl, I saw a man pressing his face against the glass case protecting the dead Jesus. He was clutching a rosary with his right fist. He was in distress and desperately seeking God’s intercession. How is he na kaya?

There’s a portion pala somewhere near the side of the main altar that has another altar.
There’s a smaller Santo Entierro resting in one of the crevices of the church, where some prominent people and priests were buried during the Spanish time. Medyo creepy.
