While my children were inside the shops, I went outside and sat at a bench in front of YSL and Chanel stores.
The weather was really nice at 21 degrees. I wanted to savor this kind of climate and surroundings.
A guy approached me and offered to take my picture. I said no thanks. He then offered to take the photos of the two Japanese ladies.
He’s Evan, a Waikiki Aloha Ambassador. He’s employed by the Hawaii State to go around and make the tourists feel the Aloha spirit of hospitality. They basically want to make sure that visitors are comfortable, safe, happy and feeling at home here in Waikiki. That’s how things should be. We Filipinos should do something like this too.
