A male tour guide welcomed us at the port. I was eager to know where we were going next because of the heat. I was worried about how my body would react to the intense heat. I can’t do kilometers of walking in this kind of condition.
There were thousands of people walking and exploring the labyrinths of narrow pathways.
Mykonos is beautiful and interesting but I couldn’t appreciate its beauty because I was busy trying to repel the heat.
Walking tour under a piercing heat? Not fun at all, for me.
If you have a high heat tolerance then Greece is the place for you.
My husband applied 70 sf sunblock on my face, the one he uses when he plays golf.
Welcome to Mykonos
Many of the houses are perched on top of rocks and mountains overlooking the town and the water.
Instead of oh my buhay, it’s oh my init!
This boat is only for display, it belongs to a restaurant situated beside it.
Our tour guide looks annoyed because our group doesn’t follow him closely. We disperse to take our individual photos which delays our so-called guided walking tour. Tour guides are complaining that tourists just come here to take photos, and they are not interested to know the history of the place. The history and detailed information we can Google on Wikipedia, Tripadvisor, and other government sites, at our convenience and in the comforts of our hotel rooms. While on a walking tour under the extreme heat of the sun, with thousands of people swarming around me, also in a hurry to catch a nice selfie, the most sensible thing to do given a one hour window is to just take as much photos of the place, as many as possible, fast and quick then go under the shade, drink water, and wipe perspiration.
