I want to get married in Vegas

Aside from casinos, Vegas (pronounced as Vey-gas!) is also a popular place for weddings— first time bride and groom, renewal of vows, impulse weddings, true love, either real or imagined.

I do want to get married here too, parang masaya. Yes, you read it right, I want to get married in Vegas. Yung simple lang. Dalawa bisita. Nyke and Oyen.

We met this waitress at the Red Lobster restaurant in Bakersfield last June and she was full of excitement when she shared with us her story about their renewal of vows on their 25th wedding anniversary. Their children surprised her by arranging for everything.

Ako din. I want also. It’s going to be fun. Kaya lang wala akong groom. There’s no way my husband will agree to marry me again much more in Vey-gas. Ahh ah, kahit fake wedding hindi yun papayag. Next year 2018 I want to have a renewal of our vows. Hindi pa naman expired, basta type ko lang.
I still have a year to convince him. Tough luck. I’ll find a way. I’ll bribe him. I’ll offer him sex. Pero after the wedding na. Ano, pre-marital sex? Hindi pwede, conservative tayo. At saka lugi ako, wala pang kasal sex na? Kung magbago sya ng isip at hindi matuloy yung kasal? Lugi ako.

I surfed for wedding venues (aba seryoso). There are hundreds. Meron pa palang drive in parang McDonald’s. Pero yung iba parang mortuaries. Wag yun, hindi romantic. Kailangan cute, romantic.
