My site ohmybuhay.com has programming errors which we couldn’t trace and correct.
The site had crashed many times. Ever since I started blogging, I’ve experienced so many difficulties.
There have been many times that I couldn’t even post.
It would take several hours just to post a few pictures. Nabubura, or the site would just disappear. Then I had to start all over again.
When it crashed the second or third time, the word wordpress became attached to the .com.
We were advised that there must be one URL only https://ohmybuhay.com so my staff re-did the whole thing to remove the word wordpress that was showing up. After she did that, my old posts started re-appearing. She re-programmed it and the old posts stopped but they were still repeated somewhere there.
The constant errors caused the drop in ohmybuhay’s alexa rating. From #800,000 worldwide (good enough for new bloggers) it dropped to 20M and then to 8M and today I don’t even know where it is. The bad thing about hiring someone who doesn’t know anything about rankings is that they think the higher the number the better. Although my blog is a personal diary and not mainly to promote topics and products, it still is a good feeling knowing that other people, aside from our neighbors, read it.
Many of my readers who have just recently discovered my blog read the old posts. Lately some of them have complained that they couldn’t access my old posts. Some regular readers told me that they still read my old posts.
I need help. I badly need a highly experienced website developer to help me diagnose, evaluate and correct the programming errors in my site for good.
