We wasted no time in exploring what’s around the hotel. After we’ve unpacked and rested for half-hour, go na agad kami. Sayang ang oras. The weather was sunny but with cold breeze.
We walked two short blocks and found a town square full of local vendors selling Hungarian delicacies and handmade items. A weekend Spring Market is being held.

There are several home accessories store.
Grill Es Lepenyek Haza sells sausages, meat dishes and bread.
There are at least a dozen handicrafts store.
There are many micro-entrepreneurs there at the plaza that personally man their stores.
Some also baked the porcelain, ceramics at their stall including the hand-paintings.
Ang daming kumakain but I couldn’t tell it they’re foreign tourists or locals.
This food stall sells kawa-kawang sausages, chicken, beef goulash, etc.
Eating sausage in Hungary is a must for tourists.
The Rooster testicles stew is delicious, bagay ito ihalo sa Hen pekpeckles brew.

There are many souvenir stores near the hotel and some of them close late, up to 10 or 11 pm. I bought a tiny ceramic container for crushing pepper, salt, garlic. Ang liit liit nito at manipis pa. Baka sya ang ma-crush.
The sales lady knows several Tagalog words.
They also have dinner plates from Hungary. The designs are not to my liking. I am looking for a specific brand of porcelain.
It’s past 9 pm. Jet lag is setting in.
Let’s go try if the hotel bed is comfy.
