Welcome Back St. Andrews

The first time I laid my eyes on this quaint village of St. Andrews in October 2013 I already declared that I would come back to this place to bring my son and daughter.
On the contrary, my husband said once for him is enough and he’s not coming back anymore. Tama na daw isang beses. I contradicted him, I said “bakit ang feeling ko eh makakatatlong balik ka pa dito?”

I was right, sort of. This is not yet the third time, but here we are, we’re back, St. Andrews says welcome back to us.

It was a sunny day when we arrived in the afternoon of April 10. This was a perfect golf day.

If you like klieg lights, noise and some chaos, this quaint town is not for you. You’ll get bored in a day. Edmund’s friends are wondering how his wife could manage joining him here for a couple of days. Baka daw mainip ako. Their wives daw would get bored.

St. Andrews quaint stone houses

I will forever be a small town girl so I can still survive living in tiny villages like this, but in a bigger house.

So far, this is the smallest and cutest house I’ve ever seen in the St. Andrews grid.

See how pretty this window is? Most windows in this village are this lovely.
I imagine long time ago that the people living here know each other and they don’t have to lock their doors and windows.

I took photos of several For Sale houses. As if naman ay bibili. If I win in the lotto in millions of dollars, I will buy a house here. I think it’s going to be cool. I will get one facing the Old Course Links and the water.
Every day would be one glorious day. Stare at the greens and inhale the cool and unpolluted air.
