Knowing that her mom loves house wares more than clothes, daughter brought me to the Habitat store in Bonifacio Global City.
This is a European-brand which first opened in London in 1964. Most of the pieces on display are from France. We saw a male Caucasian helping the store’s local stylists spruce up the furniture section.
Looking at their furniture pieces like dining tables, chairs and sofas gave me an instant impression that these are truly European. I actually saw a strong similarity with the IKEA products. Maybe because the founders of IKEA owned this brand for about 18 years till they sold it to a French company.
The dimensions also fit the tight spaces of condo living. The designs are neutral, meaning they can be mixed or matched with other pieces / styles.
Glass wares stand-out beside a yellow contrast
Interesting home and office organizers
There are yellow touches around the store. This yellow scarf or chair throw livens up the dark chair.
I fell in love with a white garden table and chairs but I am not re-furnishing our house at the moment. Maybe next year.
