Women Biz Membership Meeting and Induction

I missed most of the Women Biz’s meetings and events in the past two years because I was abroad most of the time. Glad to have made it to our Luau Christmas Party in early December and to our first membership meeting this year at the Dusit Thani Hotel, our favorite meeting venue.

Our food was so delicious and Chit was saying that it was Evelyn Singson who chose the menu. Evelyn is the president of Philippine Hoteliers, Inc., which owns Dusit Thani Hotel in Makati.

I wanted to get a second serving of the mango sago but I controlled myself.

Atty. Lorna Kapunan and Chit look like supermodels with their matching floral ensembles. Lorna is a proud mom of five sons (two lawyers) and grandma of 3 boys. I told her she’s outnumbered by men.

Florencia Gozon Tarriela is the newest member of the Women’s Business Council of the Philippines. Flor is the current chairman of the Philippine National Bank and sits in the board of the Lucio Tan Group of Companies.
