We revived the monthly Kapihan of the Women’s Business Council of the Philippines (WBCP) and I was glad it’s no longer at 8:30 am but it’s from 10-12noon.
I am not sure if the Dusit woud be our permanent venue. I don’t mind, the location is convenient.

Tiffany, Lilian Linsangan, Jeannie Goulbourn, Atty. Lorna Kapunan – James Yap’s saviour.
Sabsie Palanca and Ester Punongbayan
The officers also decided to put a spin to our long name by shortening it to WomenBiz. Kasi daw when you Google WBCP, the name of other organizations from other countries come out, except our very own.
For this year’s first Kapihan, the topics were about filing of income tax returns and macro economic outlook.
Mylene Abiva, Lilian Linsangan and Cora Ong. Cora was complaining about the BIR. She said no matter what they’re company do to make sure they’re reportings are accurate, the BIR still finds something wrong. The look and worry on her face showed her disgust. She said it’s very discouraging. I agree 100%.

The launch of the book (I forgot the title) which contained a compilation of the profiles of the Earnst & Young Entrepreneur awardees including the list of the Women Business Council’s officers, was also held at the Kapihan.
We found ourselves asking for each other’s signatures. Parang we’re already saying goodbye to each other.

Mrs. Vibal
She and husband founded the number one publishing house in the country, Vibal Publishing.
Beth Payte and her glamorous client turned image model, Tiffany Simeon.
Tiffany has bought a lot of costume jewelries from Beth. The one she’s wearing here is about P9,000
Beth has opened a boutique at the Solaire Casino.
This one’s also P9,000+-
P7,500. I like this color. Maybe I should start wearing something like this to add pizzaz to my very simple and outdated look.
Tiffany and I are going to Beth’s house tomorrow in Sunnyvale to look at her workshop and paintings. She does paint too.
Hello Ms. Annie! May blog or Web site po ba si Ms. Beth Payte para sa accessories nya? Her pieces are really pretty, eyecatching. Iniiwasan ko ang gumawa ng ganun kasi nangangapa pa rin ako on what accessories to do and what are ok in the eyes of others. Maybe may Web site po siya?
