I won two round trip tickets to HK

I bought 10 dinner concert tickets (one table good for 10 people) for the Christmas concert of my favorite Filipino singer Arnel Pineda last December. My intention was to give away 6 of the tickets to friends and the four would be for my family. I didn’t know that the date which was on December 9 coincided with our office party so we couldn’t attend the dinner concert so I gave away all 10 tickets. My assigned table pa naman was at the very front of the stage.

After the concert, the balikbayan guy who I gave 3 tickets to excitedly called to say that they won two round trip tickets to HK. He also mentioned that Arnel Pineda was looking for us. The puppy we gave him a few years ago now has 3 puppies of its own. Tatlo na apo ni Twinkle.

I left Manila on December 12 and I totally forgot about this tickets.
While I was abroad, the organizers of the concert called to inform me that my tickets numbered so and so won two round trip tickets to HK and they were asking for the names of the passengers and the dates.

The tickets must be issued by end of February and travel must commence by August of this year.

I thought of giving them away to someone who helped me process some documents. He got excited but when he was trying to renew his passport, he said he couldn’t get an appointment and the earliest would be in July and he wasn’t even sure. His companion also doesn’t have a passport yet.

I told my daughter to just use them. When she was endorsed to the travel agency, she was told that only me could use the ticket plus one companion. Huh? Ganun ba raffle? You mean to tell me if I won a restaurant voucher I have to be the one to eat the food? If I won a television I have to be the one to watch tv?

Because of the restriction, instead of my daughter bringing along a friend to HK, it would be a mother and daughter weekend bonding.

There’s another restriction na naman, I cannot upgrade the tickets to business class. Siguro the tickets are super cheapipay that’s why they are non-upgradable. Dapat kasi code Q.

Minsan lang ako manalo sa raffle, ang dami pang restrictions. Not that I am not grateful but I wish there are no restrictions.
The last time I went to HK was with my son, I think that was more than 3 years ago. We sat in the economy because the tickets came from the travel fair. I had some regrets because the plane was so small parang going to Boracay lang, the seats were tiny and the flight was super full. Super sikip. Sayang lang kasi yung tickets kung hindi gagamitin.
