Edmund and I picked up Alice Dacanay from McCarran International Airport. She flew in from San Francisco to hang-out with us and her niece. Alice is my townmate and high school classmate.
While waiting at the baggage section, Edmund bought a cup of Starbucks coffee only to find out that the price at the airport was double.
I bought thru American Express Concierge two tickets to Diana Ross’s concert for June 5 at Encore Theater in Wynn Hotel & Casino. After we picked Alice, we went to Wynn to pick up the concert tickets.
Edmund and I had been here once last December for buffet dinner. We checked out their food and venue because I was looking for a place to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
We like Wynn Hotel. It doesn’t smell like cigarettes.
The toilet was pretty impressive. The walls were clad with first-grade natural marble stone.
We also tried getting tickets to Jokoy but they were sold out. Sikat na sikat na pala sya. We wanted to watch comedy sana para matawa kami.
We had snacks at Charlie’s also located inside Wynn.
I didn’t want to eat a lot because we’re having dinner with our schoolmates and kababayan Erly and Lily.
I ordered clam chowder soup. I am still in search for the best clam chowder. So far the one of Hog Island is number two. I haven’t found the number 1.
We wanted to touch the floral balls to verify if the petals were fresh but we couldn’t reach the balls.
We played the slot machine for 15 minutes. I should have quit while I was ahead by $30. I ended up with a 25 cents win.
