I get email updates every other day from Louis Vuitton regarding their new products, launches, shows, etc. Today, their email showed LV bags and accessories in vibrant colors.
Their shop in Taipei near the Regal Hotel had a completely different look. There was no brown LV monogramme and instead, there were lots of polka dots depicting 83-year old Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama’s Ascension of Polka Dots on the Trees and psychedelic looks. Kusama described polka dots as a form of infinity.
