We went to Boiling Crab to have dinner but the wait was a good one hour. We drove farther away to Summerlin to try Yojie Japanese Fondue. Fil-American stand-up comedian Jokoy who lives in Las Vegas, is a co-owner together with his friend Anton.
It’s located in Village Square where our very own Jollibee and Red Ribbon have branches too.
There was a wait. It took us half hour to get seated.
The waiter said Jokoy had been spending time in the restaurant the past few days except this day. Tyempo. Yen wanted to see him because when he was in Manila a few weeks ago, Oyen watched his show and had a photo with him.
Menu
I chose Yojie’s cut and Geisha size
Oyen ordered ube ice cream for me. I was so busog na but she ordered chocolate fondue pa. We couldn’t finish it.
She had the fruits wrapped to go and the restaurant was kind enough to give her a new pack of chocolate sauce to go with the fruits. When we went back to the hotel, she swung by the restroom at the lobby. She told me the chocolate sauce container fell on the toilet floor, the plastic lid sprung open and came out the hardened chocolate. It rolled down on the floor. My daughter picked up the chocolate and placed it back in the plastic container. When she came out, she told me what happened and asked what she was going to do with the chocolate. Dios mio kinilabutan ako. Throw it away and wash your hands!!! That was both kadiri and funny.
