While Oyen looks at YSL bags, I sit.
They don’t discriminate here. Wearing rubber slippers in luxury goods boutiques are just fine. Shopping in bikinis is also acceptable pero hanggang tsinelas lang ako.
There is no sign that picture-taking is not allowed. Trio-fie.
YSL has colorful bags and shoes.
The salmon and pink colors are everywhere in Hawaii. They are the spring colors daw. There are still the classic grays and blacks.
The store manager, Jason, served us water in goblets, not in plastic bottles. He also gave us original, made in France, black and very thick cocktail napkins with YSL silver stamp. I am bringing them home. When you come to our house and find a few YSL and Chanel paper napkins on our dining table, do not be impressed, libre lang yun from the stores.
It’s so much fun to shop in Honolulu – surprisingly good shopping destination. It is super casual and relaxed. At some areas, people go shopping barefoot – straight from the beach. The atmosphere is festive because there are so many tourists on vacation. It’s been drizzly this week. I hope you’ve seen a rainbow!
