It’s my son’s 26th birthday today.
His favorite Pokemon comforter when he was little.
It’s still Christmas at our house. We still have the Christmas tree and lights, until after the Chinese New Year on February 8.
I have a few new ornaments shipped from the US by my sister.
Peace and Joy card is not only for the holiday season but it’s also appropriate for birthday wishes. We all want peace and joy in our lives.
Anak, here’s wishing you a long and happy life. May the good Lord keep you safe from sickness and harm.
Thank you Mela for the blueberry cheesecake.
We didn’t go to a restaurant. There’s no party either. My son just wanted to have a quiet crab-eating festival at home. Supposedly 6 px, but Oyen’s boyfriend Derrick is sick. So it’s 4 + 1.
My son bought two kilos of hipon swahe and 5 pieces of very large crabs.
There are many advantages of having a simple birthday dinner at home. No hassle, no bustle, no traffic, no noisy co-diners, no service charge.
We had so much food. Nyke bought the crabs from Farmers Market. He bought the hipon suahe (shrimps) from Hypermart. Oyen bought a box of Australian Rib eye which we grilled at home. Mela bought the salad from Green Pastures. I sent the driver to buy two orders of pancit canton from Max restaurant for birthday noodles. Instant buffet.
Lemon and tea to wash hands with after eating crabs.
Mela is fond of dogs too. Tyler takes advantage of the extra attention.
26th birthday cake. It’s looks familiar ‘no? Kasi I bought that from the Goldilock’s store in Greenhills where I bought Nyke’s bday cake last year. That’s my favorite birthday cake na after I discovered last year how cheap it was. I paid P435 for this and it’s a good size.
Edmund and I ate one slice each of mocha cake from Goldilock’s.
While Yen, Nyke, Mela, had the cheesecake. I gave the household helpers 3/4 of the mocha cake.
Oyen takes Polaroid photos every day. I want to have a Polaroid camera on my birthday. Parinig to my daughter.
