38th Valentines

Husband didn’t play golf today.
We woke up at almost the same time. He has slight ubo.
We had breakfast together. Bulalo, supposed to be our ulam last night but we ate out.

A———“Malamang nito magtayo ako ng bulalohan sa Tagaytay”.
E———“Mag experiment ka lang, weekend lang”.
A———“pag meron akong nakakilalang kusinero”.
E———“Lalaki naman talaga ang mga magagaling na kusinero nung araw”.

E———“Matutuwa ngayon yung mga taga Starbucks, makikita nila ako”.

I didn’t go out today. I just stayed home. I didn’t want to go back to bed pero at around 2 pm, I was getting cross-eyed from sleepiness. I took a one hour nap from 3-4 pm.

Edmund came home at 5:00 pm, while I was in my bathroom getting ready for the 6 pm church. Bihis na ako, I was drying my hair.

E——-“Hindi ka umalis? Nagpa-beauty ka?”
E——-“Dito ka lang, nagpa beauty ka talaga”.

After taking a bath, he entered my bathroom and showed me the blue polo shirt he picked, he placed it beside me, comparing the color with my dress.
E——-“Terno ba? Blending”.

E——-“Yang mga restaurant na yan. They are making a killing. Tumawag yung Japanese restaurant, tinatanong kung confirmed tayo at 7:30. Kasi daw 6-8 pm first turn, 8-10 second turn. Kung sa first turn tayo. I said “I am confused, our reservation is at 7:30 pm. Basta 7:30 kami pupunta”.

E——–“Grabe, anim na libo, P3,000 per person, no choice tayo, kung hindi, Jollibee bagsak natin”.
A——–“Ganun talaga Valentines day. It’s that one time of the year na they dictate”.

5:45 pm
E——–“I am ready”.
A——–“Tart, mga 10 minutes pa ako”.

Not too many people attended the anticipated mass.

6:20 pm during Homily

E——–“Sweetheart, tart, three eight, thirty eight, 38th Valentines natin today”.
E——–“Really?”
E——–“Wow”.
E——–“That’s terrible”.

(I was wrong, it’s only our 37th.)
